Advantages of pneumatic transmission:
1. The working medium of the pressure is air or nitrogen, which is economical and convenient, and usually does not pollute the environment.
2. The air flow loss is small, and it can be transported over long distances.
3. Compared with hydraulic pressure, the pneumatic transmission has rapid action, quick response, simple maintenance, and the pipeline is not easy to be blocked. There is no problem of medium deterioration, supplementation and replacement.
4. It has good working environment adaptability and can be used safely and reliably in flammable and explosive places.
Disadvantages of pneumatic transmission: Due to the compressibility of air, the movement speed of the cylinder is greatly affected by load changes. Moreover, the working pressure is low and the output power is small, and there is a large exhaust noise. The hydraulic pressure can reach very high pressure. The work is stable and reliable.
