Repair of light damage on piston rod surface

When the surface of the piston rod is lightly damaged, brushing technology is often used to repair it. The specific process is as follows:
1. First use a grinding wheel to smooth the damaged surface of the piston rod to make the edges smooth and smooth. Then, a small polishing wheel is used to perform surface polishing treatment so that the surface roughness is about Ra = 1.6 μm.
2. Use a lathe to process a circular arc template (see Figure 1), the inner diameter of the template is the same as the diameter of the piston rod, and the circular arc template is cut into two pieces.
3. Wrap the piston rod rod body with tape and plastic cloth, leaving a small gap between the two sides of the damage and the rod rod body in order to recover the plating solution and protect the rod body.
4. Use semi-circular graphite as anode. The anode is covered with a layer of cotton, and then covered with polyester, with a unilateral thickness of 5-6mm. Then tighten it with a 0 rubber band.
